About me 🫧

My passion for UX is fuelled by the balance of accessibility, data, & creativity as each are vital to shaping our engagement with social histories and stories.

My background in social research is marked by a commitment to exploring topics from a holistic perspective, a mindset I bring to my role as a problem solver and bridge builder. An example of this would be my work with Concordia’s Precious Plastic Program (CP3) where I explored the democratization of technology and resulting emergence of 'prosumer' culture within the 3D printing labs on Concordia's campus.

I've earned certifications in data analytics and information design, honing my abilities to extract valuable insights from broad sets of data and present them in innovative ways. I am passionate about leveraging data analytics to explore social topics, as showcased by my project at Juno College. This entailed a comprehensive analysis of trends in gendered pronoun usage in 'The Onion' articles from 1996 to 2022, considering factors like location and subject matter.

My varied background has provided me with the tools to thoughtfully investigate the breadth and depth of user needs, collaborate with a genuine desire to connect, and create space for innovation when developing solutions for complex problems. With a blend of creative, analytical, and interpersonal strengths, I feel at home in my role as a UX researcher and designer.
